Recently realeased on Xbox Live Arcade was a new Battlefield. It is quite expensive at 1200 points and a hefty 600mb download. Is it worth it? Big YES! I was never that into Battlefield 1942 when it came out on PC and joined into the series quite late, only playing the last few games on Xbox and Xbox 360. The biggest thing about this game is that it feels like it should be a retail game; it is such a quality build. It stays true to the series’ multiplayer with the usual capturing flag points and defending the ones you hold. As the name suggests it’s based on WWII and weapons and vehicles match this theme well. I’m no expert, but it feels authentic in this respect. The title is multiplayer only, but this is the point of these games. I have spent alot of time playing already, and don’t think I’ll be getting sick of it anytime soon. Highly recommended for fans of the series!
